Les agencements sociométrologiques de la qualité de l'air : les configurations participatives des Tiers-Lieux

Abstract : Based on the observation of actions carried out in three different Fablabs in France, Germany and Canada (Quebec), we show how a citizen science of air quality is established, combining various participative configurations, cooperation or more tense relationships, and patterns of multiple concerns. Our study proposes to analyze the arrangements of this socio-metrology, following a pragmatic approach based on a historical and socio-cognitive perspective. In the light of this analysis, we then compare the different initiatives implemented in the three Fablabs studied. This first exploratory study insists on the question of learning processes. It stresses out the need to question the participative design implemented with regard to the socio-political and socio-cognitive dimensions at stake.
