The Catholic Church’s current situation raises questions about its governance methods, especially at the level of parish communities. A perspective grounded in the management of organizations, coupled with the observation of wide-ranging situations and a theological reflection, can prove helpful in considering the practicality in moving away from a vertical structure in order to prioritize including the community.
